Rita Amladi is the owner of Orion Arts & Communications, a digital imaging training & consulting company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) and an Adobe Certified Trainer for Adobe Photoshop (ACE). For the last 21 years, Rita has taught classes on Adobe software and related topics such as sustainable design, color management, scanning & digital capture, color correction & retouching, digital special effects and production techniques for print and web-based art. Her latest offering is Best Practices in Green Design, by Graphics.com Learning. She is also an award-winning author of training videos for Virtual Training Company, Inc. Rita has authored several publications from Adobe Press, such as the Advanced Adobe Classroom in a Book and Production Essentials, as well as technical white papers for the Adobe Design Center. She has written for trade publications such as Dynamic Graphics, Step Inside Design, Photoshop Fix, and Design Graphics.
